Newly Elected Rajya Sabha Member Laxmi Verma Meets Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai

Raipur, March 2026: Newly elected Laxmi Verma paid a courtesy visit to Vishnu Deo Sai at the Chief Minister’s office in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly complex on Monday.

During the meeting, Chief Minister Sai congratulated Verma on her election to the Rajya Sabha and conveyed his best wishes for her new role. He expressed confidence that she would effectively represent the aspirations of the people of Chhattisgarh in the Upper House of Parliament.

The Chief Minister said Verma would play an important role in raising issues related to public sentiment, development priorities, and the expectations of citizens from the state at the national level. He emphasised that strong representation in the Rajya Sabha would help highlight the concerns and developmental needs of Chhattisgarh before the central government.

The meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere and reflected the government’s commitment to strengthening cooperation between state representatives and members of Parliament for the state’s development.

On the occasion, several public representatives and dignitaries were also present, including Kiran Singh Dev, Anuj Sharma, and Sanjay Srivastava, along with other officials and representatives.
