Shiv Pratap Shukla Sworn in as Telangana Governor at Lok Bhavan

March 2026 : In a solemn ceremony held at Lok Bhavan, Shiv Pratap Shukla was sworn in as the Governor of Telangana. The oath of office was administered by Aparesh Kumar Singh, Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court, in the presence of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and several dignitaries.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy attended the ceremony and extended a warm welcome to the newly sworn-in Governor on behalf of the Government and the people of Telangana. He expressed confidence that the Governor would play an important role in strengthening democratic institutions and supporting the state’s development.

The ceremony witnessed the presence of several prominent leaders and officials. Among those present were Gutta Sukhender Reddy, Chairman of the Telangana Legislative Council, and Prasad Kumar, Speaker of the Telangana Legislative Assembly. Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, along with state ministers, legislators, senior civil and police officials, and other distinguished guests, also attended the event.

The swearing-in ceremony marked an important moment for the state’s constitutional leadership, as Shiv Pratap Shukla formally assumed office as the Governor of Telangana.
