Sports Minister Welcomes New KISCE Staff
Aizawl : This afternoon, Sports & Youth Services Minister Pu Lalnghinglova Hmar met with the newly appointed staff of the Khelo India State Centre of Excellence (KISCE) in his office chamber. KISCE is envisioned to be a Centre of Excellence, aimed at nurturing the top athletic talents in Mizoram.
The Sports Minister emphasized the importance of identifying and nurturing talented athletes and ensuring they receive the highest quality training. He noted that the staff at KISCE would play a crucial role in advancing Mizoram’s sports development, and urged them to be fully committed to their responsibilities.
In his speech, Minister Pu Lalnghinglova Hmar highlighted the need for KISCE staff to strive for excellence and produce tangible results, particularly in the upcoming National and Northeast Games, where Mizoram’s performance has not yet met expectations. He stressed the importance of working diligently and with integrity to achieve the best outcomes, and to push beyond the achievements of others.
Also present at the meeting were Pu Lalramsanga Sailo, Secretary of the Sports & Youth Services Department, and Pu H. Lalhmingthanga, Director of Sports & Youth Services, who accompanied the Minister.
