MLA Dr. Neeraj Bora Launches New Development Projects in Lucknow
Lucknow, March 2026 : MLA Neeraj Bora from the northern assembly constituency of Lucknow on Monday inaugurated multiple development projects across various wards, marking the beginning of several infrastructure works. The projects were formally launched through bhoomi pujan (groundbreaking ceremonies) in the presence of local residents.

Dr. Bora visited areas including Janakipuram II, Lala Lajpat Rai Ward, Nirala Nagar, and Faizullaganj Ward IV, where he was warmly welcomed by residents. Locals expressed their gratitude for the ongoing development initiatives in the region.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Bora said that over the past nine years, extensive development work has taken place across Uttar Pradesh, with the Lucknow North constituency receiving significant benefits. He appreciated the “double-engine government” for accelerating infrastructure growth and improving civic amenities.
He highlighted several major projects underway in the region, including the construction of hospitals and community centres, development of a nearly nine-kilometre-long drainage system, and the construction of a new bridge parallel to Lal Pul. He also mentioned the replacement of a temporary pipa bridge with a permanent bridge along with an approach road, as well as the development of green corridors and overbridges.
In addition to large-scale infrastructure, Dr. Bora emphasized continuous improvements at the local level, such as construction of roads in residential lanes, installation of open gyms, and beautification of parks.
Among the key projects inaugurated on Monday were road and drainage construction from Satish Kumar Soni’s residence to Subhash Chandra Barnwal’s house in Janakipuram Garden, construction of an RCC drain and drain covers in Usman Enclave of Lala Lajpat Rai Ward, and painting and beautification work at Ashok Singhal Park near the residence of Dr. Sushil Upadhyay in Nirala Nagar.
Other works included the construction of a deep drainage system from Tiranga Chauraha to Aarti Tent House in Faizullaganj Ward IV, and road and drainage development from Nirmala Hospital to Chaubey Dairy.
Several public representatives and local leaders, including councillors, party office-bearers, and workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party, were present at the event along with a large number of local residents.
