IPL 2026: Punjab Kings Opt to Bowl First Against Gujarat Titans in Season Clash

New Chandigarh, March 2026 : Punjab Kings won the toss and elected to bowl first against Gujarat Titans in Match 4 of the Indian Premier League 2026 at the PCA New International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.

Punjab Kings entered the contest riding high on confidence after a remarkable run in the 2025 season, where they finished as runners-up—one of their best performances in the tournament’s history. On the other side, Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill expressed confidence in the pitch, describing it as good for batting despite intermittent rain over the past two days. He highlighted the team’s balanced combination and the presence of experienced international stars such as Jos Buttler, Rashid Khan, and Kagiso Rabada. Gill also mentioned new additions to the squad, indicating a mix of fresh talent and seasoned performers.
