Prime Minister Narendra Modi Interacts with Lakhpati Didis: A Boost in Self-Esteem Along with Financial Empowerment
Jalgaon – Prime Minister Narendra Modi today interacted with selected millionaires of the country in Jalgaon. Through these conversations, he learned about the transformation in their standard of living due to the Lakhpati Didi Yojana. “We have become economically empowered through the financial, professional assistance, and training provided to women’s savings groups under the Lakhpati Didi Yojana. At the same time, we have gained self-respect,” expressed the Lakhpati Didis.
Before the Lakhpati Didi meeting at Prime Industrial Park grounds, Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged with 80 selected Lakhpati Didis from across the country. These women, who have become millionaires, represented various roles such as Bank Sakhi Didi, Drone Didi, Pashu Didi, and Agricultural Didi from different states.
On this occasion, Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, State Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Union Minister of State for Sports Raksha Khadse, and Rural Development, Panchayat Raj, and Tourism Minister Girish Mahajan were present.
