Combine Harvesters to Get Toll Exemption: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the state government is committed to the welfare of farmers. In Farmer Welfare Year 2026, several decisions are being taken in the interest of farmers to realise the vision of ‘Samriddh Kisan–Samriddh Pradesh’. Combine harvesters used for agricultural purposes will now be exempted from toll charges at toll plazas operated by the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation (MPRDC). The Chief Minister Chaired the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation held at Samatva Bhavan (Chief Minister’s Residence).
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that combine harvesters used for crop harvesting are essential agricultural equipment. This decision will prove beneficial for farmers. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav issued these directions during the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation. Public Works Minister Shri Rakesh Singh and Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Jain were present in meeting.
During the Board meeting chaired by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, approval was granted for the construction of the Indore–Ujjain Greenfield Road and the Ujjain–Jaora Greenfield Road as non-access-controlled projects. Additional Chief Secretary Shri Sanjay Dubey and Shri Manish Rastogi, Principal Secretary Public Works, Shri Sukhbir Singh, Principal Secretary Forest, Shri Sandeep Yadav, and Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation, Shri Bharat Yadav, were present at the meeting.
