Gautam Adani Visits Ayodhya Ram Temple with Family on Hanuman Jayanti
New Delhi, April 2026 : Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani visited the grand Ram Temple Ayodhya on Thursday along with his family, offering prayers and seeking blessings at one of India’s most significant spiritual landmarks. The visit coincided with the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, adding to the religious significance of the day.

Accompanied by his wife Priti Adani and son Karan Adani, the Adani family took part in rituals at the temple and offered prayers to Lord Ram. The visit came as a moment of personal and spiritual importance for the industrialist, especially following the temple’s inauguration in 2024, which marked a historic milestone in India’s cultural and religious landscape.
Speaking to the media after the darshan, Gautam Adani described the experience as deeply emotional and meaningful. He said the temple represents not just a centre of faith but also a powerful symbol of India’s cultural heritage, unity, and growing self-confidence on the global stage. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to visit the birthplace of Lord Ram and seek divine blessings for his family and the nation.
During his visit, Adani also highlighted the importance of preserving India’s cultural traditions in a rapidly evolving technological era. He spoke about the role of the Adani Foundation in promoting and sustaining traditional values, particularly through support for educational and cultural institutions.
As part of his itinerary, he visited a Gurukul, where he interacted with students and spent time understanding their way of learning rooted in ancient traditions. He emphasised that such institutions play a crucial role in preserving India’s cultural identity and passing it on to future generations. In an age increasingly shaped by Artificial Intelligence and digital transformation, he noted that maintaining a connection to heritage is more important than ever.
The Adani Group chairman also assured continued support for initiatives aimed at safeguarding and promoting India’s traditions. He stated that efforts would be made to ensure that cultural practices remain relevant and accessible, even as the country advances technologically.
Earlier in the day, Gautam Adani arrived in Ayodhya via the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport, a recently developed airport that has enhanced connectivity to the holy city. He was received by officials of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, who guided him through the temple complex and highlighted its architectural grandeur and spiritual significance.
Reports also suggested that he may participate in ceremonial activities related to Hanuman Jayanti, including the hoisting of a special flag within the temple premises. The festival, also known as Hanuman Janmotsav, commemorates the birth of Lord Hanuman, revered as a symbol of devotion, strength, and unwavering loyalty to Lord Ram.
The visit by one of India’s leading industrialists underscores the temple’s growing prominence as a spiritual and cultural destination, attracting devotees and dignitaries from across the country.
