37 Differently-Abled Persons Receive Scooties Under CM Scheme

Jaipur, April 2026 : Under the Chief Minister’s Divyang Scooty Scheme, 37 differently-abled persons were distributed scooties on Friday during a समारोह held at the Deaf Senior Secondary School in Vaishali Nagar.

Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani, who distributed the scooties, said that while differently-abled individuals may have limitations in certain physical aspects, their abilities often surpass those of others. He emphasised that the government is continuously working to ensure that they can lead a normal and dignified life. The Chief Minister’s Divyang Scooty Scheme has been launched as part of these efforts.

He informed that a target of distributing 77 scooties was set for Ajmer district under the scheme. With the distribution of these vehicles, beneficiaries will find it easier to manage their daily lives, pursue employment, and live with dignity and independence.

Devnani also appreciated the efforts of the deaf school, stating that it is doing commendable work for humanity with the support of the community. He added that service to humanity is the greatest service, and everyone should contribute with compassion and a spirit of cooperation.

Joint Director of the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Jai Prakash, said that with Friday’s distribution, 37 beneficiaries have been covered under the scheme. Earlier, 40 scooties had already been distributed, completing the total target of 77 for the district.

He further informed that all the scooties provided under the scheme are equipped with two अतिरिक्त wheels for better stability and safety. Helmets were also distributed to the beneficiaries along with the vehicles to ensure their safety.
