Ranveer Singh Pays Tribute to Hedgewar, Meets RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat in Nagpur

Mumbai, April 2026 : Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh paid tribute to Keshav Baliram Hedgewar during his visit to the Hedgewar Smruti Mandir in Reshimbagh, Nagpur, marking a significant personal and public engagement with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

Following the tribute, Ranveer also met RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, with sources indicating that the interaction was cordial and meaningful. The actor was seen dressed in a traditional all-white kurta-pyjama during the meeting, reflecting a simple and respectful appearance for the occasion.

Ranveer had arrived in Nagpur from Mumbai on Friday afternoon via a chartered flight, reaching around 4:00 PM. Soon after landing, he proceeded directly to the RSS headquarters in Reshimbagh. The RSS officially confirmed both his visit and his meeting with Bhagwat. After spending a few hours in the city, the actor departed for Mumbai later in the evening, around 8:00 PM.

This is not the first time Ranveer Singh has expressed his appreciation for the organisation. Earlier, during the centenary year celebrations of the RSS, he had extended his greetings on the occasion of Vijayadashami. At the time, he acknowledged the organisation’s contributions over the past century and expressed hope that it would continue to inspire future generations.

On the professional front, Ranveer is currently enjoying the success of his recent film Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge. The actor has been actively promoting the film and engaging with fans through various appearances and creative collaborations. Recently, he was seen recreating the popular track “Aari Aari Aari” from the film alongside Punjabi singer Khaan Saab, who lent his voice to the song.

The “Dhurandhar” franchise has garnered significant attention for its gripping storyline and strong performances. The first installment, released in 2025, featured an ensemble cast including Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal, alongside Ranveer in the lead role.

The films follow the journey of Hamza, an undercover Indian intelligence agent portrayed by Ranveer, who infiltrates criminal syndicates and political networks in Karachi to neutralize threats to national security. With the sequel hitting theatres on March 19 this year, both films have performed strongly at the box office, further cementing Ranveer Singh’s position as a leading star in the industry.
