CM Bhajanlal Sharma Announces Tourism Push for Ramsagar Lake, New Panorama Projects in Hindoli
Jaipur, April 2026 : Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said that ensuring development reaches every village and household remains the government’s core commitment, as he laid the foundation and inaugurated development works worth ₹70 crore during his visit to Hindoli in Bundi district.
Addressing a public gathering on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule, the Chief Minister highlighted the government’s focus on inclusive growth. He also paid tribute to Savitribai Phule, acknowledging her pioneering contribution to women’s education and social reform.
Sharma announced that Ramsagar Lake will be developed as a major tourism hub, with the second phase of its tourism and development works set to begin soon. He also unveiled plans to build a panorama and library dedicated to the lives and contributions of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule and Savitribai Phule.
Emphasising welfare measures, the Chief Minister said the state government is providing LPG cylinders to needy families at ₹450 and has increased social security pensions. He added that initiatives like the “Rising Rajasthan” investment summit have attracted MoUs worth ₹35 lakh crore, with projects worth around ₹9 lakh crore already being implemented, generating employment opportunities for youth.
Highlighting national initiatives, Sharma credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the development of religious and cultural landmarks such as the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, and Mahakal Lok in Ujjain. He said the Centre’s focus on welfare schemes has benefitted women, farmers, and the poor across the country.
The Chief Minister also outlined major infrastructure projects aimed at improving water and power supply in the state, including the Ram Jal Setu Link Project, Yamuna water agreement, and strengthening of canal systems. He noted that farmers in 24 districts are now receiving daytime electricity supply.
Taking a strong stand on governance, Sharma said strict action has been taken against those involved in paper leak scandals during the previous regime. “Not a single paper leak has occurred under our government,” he asserted, adding that over 1.25 lakh government jobs have been provided so far, with recruitment underway for another 1.35 lakh posts.
Detailing development works in Bundi district, he said projects worth hundreds of crores are underway, including road construction, irrigation improvements, and housing schemes. He also announced initiatives like “School on Wheels” and skill development institutes to empower youth.
During his visit, Sharma inspected the beautification work of Ramsagar Lake, performed rituals for prosperity, planted saplings to promote environmental conservation, and visited local धार्मिक sites. He also paid floral tribute to Mahatma Jyotiba Phule.
The Chief Minister further assured measures to address seepage issues at Ramsagar Lake and announced the installation of a 21-foot statue of Lord Ram at the site, aiming to make it a centre of both tourism and faith.
