Raipur, April 2026 : Reaffirming his government’s commitment to empowering the youth, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that building a bright future for young people remains a top priority, urging them to actively contribute to the vision of a developed Chhattisgarh.

Addressing a समारोह at Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, the Chief Minister distributed appointment letters to 430 newly selected laboratory attendants under the Higher Education Department. The event marked another step towards strengthening transparent recruitment systems and expanding employment opportunities in the state.

Congratulating the appointees, Sai said the government has undertaken wide-ranging reforms to ensure recruitment processes are transparent, fair, and systematic. He noted that these efforts are now yielding visible results, restoring trust among job aspirants.

To enhance administrative accountability and integrity, the state has established a dedicated Good Governance and Convergence Department and integrated government functioning with digital systems. These measures, he said, are aimed at curbing corruption and ensuring efficiency. He made it clear that any injustice toward the youth would not be tolerated.

Highlighting past irregularities, Sai said the government had handed over the investigation into the Public Service Commission (PSC) scam to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), sending a strong message about its commitment to transparency and justice. He also pointed to stricter legal provisions introduced to prevent malpractice in recruitment examinations, thereby strengthening their credibility.

The Chief Minister added that steps are being taken to simplify recruitment procedures, including the formation of a state-level selection board and the introduction of a fixed examination calendar to make the process more predictable and accessible.

Emphasising employment generation beyond government jobs, Sai said the state’s new industrial policy is focused on creating opportunities in the private sector, especially for local youth. By promoting industries, the government aims to accelerate job creation and provide diverse career options.

Calling upon the newly appointed employees to work with dedication, honesty, and commitment, he urged them to play an active role in building a developed state.

Higher Education Minister Tank Ram Verma described the recruitment drive as a significant achievement rooted in transparency and good governance. He said the initiative ensures that deserving and talented youth receive their rightful opportunities.

He also noted that a counselling-based system was adopted for postings to maintain fairness, reflecting the government’s dedication to good governance. Stressing the broader vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, Verma said the youth will play a crucial role in taking Chhattisgarh to new heights of progress and prosperity.
