‘MP e-Seva’ Strengthens Foundation of Digital Governance: CM Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has stated that the ‘MP e-Seva Portal and Mobile App’ have improved digital governance making citizen services simpler, more convenient and easily accessible. Digital technology has become the cornerstone of good governance, and the state is rapidly advancing in this direction, establishing a new national identity.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that citizens no longer need to visit multiple platforms to access services from different departments. Instead, all services are now available on a single platform in a seamless, swift and transparent manner. This initiative has made the service delivery system more accountable and well-organised, while also saving time and resources for citizens.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that the integrated citizen service platform offers more than 1,700 government services and schemes from 56 departments through a single digital window. A target of achieving 100% e-service delivery by the year 2026 has been set, marking a significant step towards positioning the state among the leading regions in digital governance in the country. Developed by the Centre of Excellence under the Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation (MPSEDC), under the Department of Science and Technology, the platform will integrate citizens, departments, and services into a unified digital ecosystem, making governance more effective and result-oriented.
All Services on a Unified Portal: Simplified Processes
The MP e-Seva Portal integrates 1,700 services from various departments, eliminating the need for citizens to repeatedly visit different portals or submit documents multiple times. Citizens can now access eligibility checks, applications, status tracking, and approvals in one place through the portal and mobile app. With Aadhaar-based authentication, e-sign, and digital certification, the entire process has been made paperless and faceless, enhancing both transparency and efficiency.
Integration with Samagra Portal: Auto-Verification Facility
The MP e-Seva platform has been integrated with the Samagra Social Security Mission portal. Each family is assigned an 8-digit Family ID, while every member receives a 9-digit Member ID, enabling automatic eligibility verification. This eliminates delays and duplication in the process. A key feature of the portal is auto-fetching of documents, which removes the need for repeated uploads—documents uploaded once are automatically available for future services.
User-Friendly, Secure and Citizen-Centric App Design
The MP e-Seva Portal has been developed with a mobile-first approach. It features multilingual support and specially designed elements to meet the needs of persons with disabilities, ensuring ease of use for both urban and rural citizens. So far, more than 2.14 lakh transactions have been recorded on the platform, including 3,446 applications, over 1.64 lakh tracking/download activities, and 45,954 eligibility checks.
Strong Presence in Digital Governance
According to the National e-Governance Service Delivery Assessment (NeSDA) 2025 report, Madhya Pradesh secured second place in the country by mapping 1,752 e-services and achieving 100% integration of all 56 mandatory departmental services. The state has received the Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence for ‘Cyber Tehsil’ and the National e-Governance Gold Award for ‘Sampada 2.0’, reflecting its notable achievements in digital governance.
