Abhishek’s 135 Powers SRH to 47-Run Win Over DC

April 2026 : Sunrisers Hyderabad produced a dominant all-round performance to defeat Delhi Capitals by 47 runs in Match 31 of the Indian Premier League 2026 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Tuesday.

After being put in to bat, SRH got off to a blistering start, thanks to their opening pair. Abhishek Sharma delivered a sensational unbeaten 135 off just 68 balls, smashing 10 fours and 10 sixes at a staggering strike rate of 198.53. His innings laid the foundation for SRH’s massive total of 242 for 2 in 20 overs.

Travis Head provided solid support with a brisk 37 off 26 balls before being dismissed by Axar Patel. In the latter stages, Ishan Kishan chipped in with 25, while Heinrich Klaasen unleashed a late assault, scoring an unbeaten 37 off just 13 balls at a stunning strike rate of over 280 to push the total beyond reach.
