People seeking financial assistance for treatment assured support by Chief Minister during Janata Darshan

Gorakhpur, May 2026 : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday met people and listened to their grievances during the Janata Darshan programme held at the Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur during his visit to the city. During the interaction, he assured people seeking help for treatment of serious illnesses that the government would extend full support for their medical care.
The Chief Minister said financial assistance would be provided through the Chief Minister’s discretionary fund. He also assured that Ayushman Bharat cards would be arranged for those who did not already possess them.
During the Janata Darshan held in the Gorakhnath Temple premises, CM Yogi interacted with nearly 200 people. Moving personally among those seated in the gathering, he listened to their problems, collected their applications, and issued necessary instructions to officials standing nearby for prompt resolution of grievances.
For complaints related to various matters, he directed the concerned administrative and police officials to ensure that all issues are resolved in a time-bound, impartial and satisfactory manner.
Several people approached the Chief Minister seeking financial assistance for treatment of serious diseases. One woman explained the financial difficulties she was facing in getting her child treated and said that she did not have an Ayushman card.
Responding compassionately, the Chief Minister assured her, saying, “Do not worry. Your child will definitely receive treatment. We will arrange the Ayushman card and financial assistance for treatment will also be provided from the discretionary fund.”
He offered similar reassurance and emotional support to another woman who had come seeking help for medical treatment.
Handing over the treatment-related applications to officials, CM Yogi instructed them to complete the estimate process quickly and submit the required documents to the government without delay.
On complaints related to crime and illegal land encroachment, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed police officials to take strict action against criminals and land mafias.
Several women had also arrived at the Janata Darshan programme with their children. The Chief Minister interacted warmly with the children, showered affection on them, and distributed chocolates along with his blessings.
