Israeli Military Operations in West Bank Kill 29 Palestinians, Injure 121.
Israeli operations across the West Bank since August 28 have resulted in the deaths of 29 Palestinians and injuries to 121 others, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry. The casualties include 18 Palestinians in Jenin, four in Tubas, and four in Tulkarm, all in the northern West Bank, with an additional three fatalities reported in Hebron in the south.
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have continued their operation in Jenin and its refugee camp for six consecutive days, causing widespread destruction to infrastructure, including water and electricity networks, as well as personal property, according to local media reports. The IDF stated that 14 militants have been killed, 20 weapons confiscated, and 25 militants apprehended during the operation.
Israel’s large-scale raid across the northern West Bank aims to prevent future attacks against Israel, as stated by the IDF. The Palestinian Health Ministry also reported that more than 660 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank since the escalation of the Palestine-Israel conflict in October 2023.
