Free transport service in 125 CM Rise schools of the state
The School Education Department has started 275 CM Rise Schools in the first phase in various districts to improve the quality of education in government schools. Out of these, 70 thousand students are being provided free transport service in 125 CM Rise schools. Free bus transport service is being provided to students going to school within a radius of 5 to 20 kilometers. World class services are being provided for personality development along with education to the students studying in CM Rise schools operating in the state.
18 thousand 399 students of 38 CM Rise Schools of Bhopal Division, 5 thousand 130 students of 14 schools of Narmadapuram Division, 30 thousand 34 students of 39 schools of Ujjain Division, 12 thousand 278 students of 28 schools of Indore Division are being provided the benefit of this free bus transport facility. 2 thousand 876 students of 4 schools of Singrauli district, 732 students of one school in Katni and 475 students of one school in Dabra in Gwalior district are getting the benefit of free transport service. For free transport service, the School Education Department has made a contract with private bus operators for the buses that are in operation. Extensive arrangements have also been made for the safety of the students in the buses being operated.
