CM Bhajan Lal Sharma Meets Union Ministers Prahlad Joshi and Mansukh Mandaviya; Discusses Energy, Skills and Employment

Jaipur/New Delhi, June 2026 : Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Tuesday held separate meetings with Union Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and New and Renewable Energy Pralhad Joshi and Union Minister for Labour and Employment, Youth Affairs and Sports Mansukh Mandaviya in New Delhi.

During his meeting with Pralhad Joshi, the Chief Minister discussed measures to strengthen food security in Rajasthan, further improve the Public Distribution System (PDS), and accelerate the state’s journey towards energy self-reliance. The two leaders also reviewed the progress of various Central government schemes related to renewable energy and discussed upcoming development projects in the sector.

On the occasion, the Union Minister appreciated Rajasthan’s achievements in the field of green energy and lauded the implementation of the Green Energy Corridor-II project in the state. The discussions focused on enhancing renewable energy capacity and supporting infrastructure to meet the state’s growing energy requirements while promoting sustainable development.

In a separate meeting with Mansukh Mandaviya, the Chief Minister held detailed discussions on skill development initiatives for Rajasthan’s youth, creating new employment opportunities, and strengthening the sports ecosystem in the state.

The talks also covered measures to promote sports culture across Rajasthan and provide local athletes with world-class facilities, training opportunities, and encouragement to compete at national and international levels. Both leaders discussed ways to empower young people through skill enhancement and employment-oriented programmes.

They also exchanged views on encouraging youth participation through the MY Bharat platform and explored strategies to further engage young citizens in nation-building and community development activities.

Speaking after the meetings, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the double-engine government remains fully committed to unlocking the potential of Rajasthan’s youth and creating opportunities for their growth and prosperity.

He said the state government is continuously working to provide a secure and bright future for young people by focusing on education, skill development, employment generation, and sports infrastructure.

The meetings underscored the close coordination between the Rajasthan government and the Centre in advancing development initiatives across key sectors, including energy, employment, youth empowerment, and public welfare.
