Jaipur, June 2026: Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma undertook a late-night visit to Mount Abu on Saturday, where he interacted with local residents, traders, tourists, women, youth, and children to gather feedback and assess the atmosphere in the popular hill station.

During his visit, the Chief Minister walked through the bustling market area on Mall Road, engaging directly with shopkeepers, visitors, and local citizens. He enquired about their well-being and listened to their views on local issues, tourism facilities, and ongoing development initiatives in the region.

Chief Minister Sharma held warm and friendly conversations with women and young people, seeking their feedback on various public welfare measures and the overall development of the area. He also met several children, interacting affectionately with them and encouraging them in their studies and future aspirations.

The presence of the Chief Minister among the public generated considerable enthusiasm. Residents and tourists expressed happiness at the opportunity to meet him personally, with many taking selfies and photographs alongside him. The informal interaction created a lively atmosphere, reflecting the public’s excitement during the visit.

As part of the night tour, the Chief Minister walked from the market area to the famous Nakki Lake, one of Mount Abu’s most popular tourist attractions. At a garden located near the lake, he met groups of visitors and local residents and held discussions regarding tourism-related facilities and development projects being implemented in the region.

He also interacted with tourists visiting Mount Abu and sought their views on the experience of visiting Rajasthan’s only hill station. Discussions focused on infrastructure improvements, cleanliness, tourism amenities, and efforts being made to enhance the overall visitor experience.

Following these interactions, Chief Minister Sharma took a boating ride on Nakki Lake and reviewed the surroundings and facilities available at the site. The visit provided him with a firsthand assessment of the tourism infrastructure and the measures being taken to improve services for visitors.

The Chief Minister’s outreach initiative was aimed at strengthening communication between the government and the public while promoting citizen participation in the development process. His direct engagement with people allowed him to understand local concerns and receive suggestions for further improving facilities in the area.

Several senior leaders and public representatives accompanied the Chief Minister during the visit, including Minister of State for Panchayati Raj Otaram Devasi, Minister of State for Industries and Commerce K.K. Vishnoi, Member of Parliament Madan Rathore, and Member of Parliament Lumbaram Choudhary.

A large number of public representatives, government officials, traders, and local residents were also present during the tour. The visit highlighted the state government’s focus on tourism development, public engagement, and improving facilities at key tourist destinations across Rajasthan.
