Vice President Shri Dhankhar arrives in Chitrakoot
Vice President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar was received by Minister in Waiting, Minister of State Smt. Pratima Bagri on his arrival at Chitrakoot in Satna district today. She welcomed the Vice President and presented him a bouquet.
On this occasion, Vice President Shri Dhankhar was also welcomed Labor Minister of Uttar Pradesh Government Shri Anil Rajwar, Minister of State (Independent Charge) Backward Class Welfare Shri Narendra Kashyap, Mayor Satna Shri Yogesh Tamrakar, Nagar Panchayat President Sadhna Patel, Commissioner Rewa Shri B.S. Jamod, IG Shri Vineet Khanna, DIG Shri Saket Prakash Pandey, Collector Shri Anurag Verma and Superintendent of Police Shri Ashutosh Gupta with bouquets at the helipad.
Vice President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar paid floral tributes at the statue of Bharat Ratna Rashtra Rishi Nana Ji Deshmukh located at Arogya Dham in Chitrakoot. On this occasion, the Principal Secretary of Deendayal Research Institute, Shri Atul Jain presented an idol of Lord Shri Ganesh to the Vice President and his wife. Vice President Shri Dhankhar and his wife also planted saplings in the memory of their mother at the Deendayal Research Institute campus in the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign. Subsequently, Vice President Shri Dhankhar left to attend the programme organized at Jagatguru Rambhadracharya Divyang State University in Chitrakoot, Uttar Pradesh.
Vice President given a warm farewell
After attending the national seminar organized in Chitrakoot, Uttar Pradesh, Vice President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar again came to Chitrakoot in a special army helicopter and left for Prayagraj by helicopter at 5 pm.
State Minister of State for Urban Development and Housing, Smt. Bagri, Vice Chancellor of Chitrakoot Gramodaya University, Prof. Bharat Mishra, and senior administrative officials gave him a warm farewell.
