CM Vishnu Dev Sai planted a tree under the campaign ‘One tree in the name of mother’
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai planted a tree today under the campaign ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ in the Police Station premises, Punjipathra. Chief Minister Shri Sai planted a Peepal tree in honour of his mother. In the programme, the Chief Minister gave the message of preserving the environment by planting a Peepal tree. The objective of this initiative is to honour motherhood along with preserving the environment.
In the Matri Chhaya Upvan tree plantation program in the Punjipathra police station premises, Agriculture and In-charge Minister Shri Ramvichar Netam planted Peepal, Finance Minister Shri OP Chaudhary planted Peepal, Rajya Sabha MP Shri Devendra Pratap Singh planted Sandalwood, MP Shri Radhe Shyam Rathia planted Sandalwood. Chief Forest Conservator Shri Prabhat Mishra, Divisional Commissioner Bilaspur Shri Mahadev Kavre, IG Shri Sanjeev Shukla, Collector Shri Kartikeya Goyal, Superintendent of Police Shri Divyang Patel and local public representatives, school children planted more than 800 saplings for Matri Chhaya Upvan. Under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign, tree plantation is being done across the state, in which every citizen is being encouraged to plant a tree in the name of their mother.
