Rishis-Munis saints and mahatmas taught us to adopt a healthy lifestyle: CM Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that in Indian culture, sages, monks, saints, and mahatmas have taught us to adopt a healthy lifestyle. By following the path and principles shown by them, we can achieve a healthy lifestyle. Today, there is a need to maintain a healthy diet, exercise, and a balanced daily routine. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing a program organized by Sansad Seva Sankalp Abhiyan Health of Indore and Digambar Jain Samaj in Indore today. Preventive health care tests of more than 50 thousand youth were conducted in the last two days under the Sansad Seva Sankalp Abhiyan Health of Indore on the initiative of MP Shri Shankar Lalwani with the aim of a healthy youth-enabled nation. So far, preventive health care tests of more than three lakh citizens have been done in this campaign.
Muni Shri Praman Sagar Ji Maharaj, Water Resources Minister Shri Tulsiram Silavat, MP Shri Shankar Lalwani and Sushri Kavita Patidar, MLA Smt. Malini Gaur, Shri Golu Shukla, Shri Madhu Verma, Shri Manoj Patel, Chairman of Scheduled Caste Finance Development Corporation Shri Sawan Sonkar, Shri Gaurav Ranadive, and public representatives were present in the programme.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that today, our daily routine is such that our health is deteriorating day by day. Indian culture and lifestyle of Jain Samaj is unique and healthy. For a healthy life, there is a need to learn from the lifestyle suggested in Indian culture. He said that today there is a need to adopt a simple, and Satvik lifestyle. To remain healthy, we have to maintain a balanced diet, exercise, and maintain a daily routine.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav sought the blessings of Muni Shri Praman Sagar Ji Maharaj. He offered floral tributes at the portrait of Acharya Shri Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that five Pranas are considered in the Bharatiya Sanatan Dharma. By having control over the five Pranas, one becomes a great person. Rishis, munis, saints, and mahatmas have taught us to control the five Pranas. He appreciated the Preventive Health Care Campaign. The Chief Minister said that the state government has taken a decision not to allow meat shops to run in the open in the state and is implementing it. Many decisions have also been taken for the protection of gauvansh. The amount for the operation of cow sheds has been doubled. Cow shelters will be operated by the state government. Arrangements will be made to give bonuses on cow milk production. He said that the state government has decided that meat and liquor shops will not operate in the areas along the banks of river Narmada. He said that it is the responsibility of the government to protect the life of every person and all essential facilities will be provided for people’s safety.
In the program, MP Shri Shankar Lalwani gave information about the background and objectives of the Health of Indore campaign. Muni Shri Praman Sagar Ji Maharaj said that Indian culture is a culture of keeping oneself healthy. Today there is a need to consider food and lifestyle. There has been a distortion in both food habits and lifestyle. Improve your diet and lifestyle, you will automatically become healthy. To avoid diseases, there is a need to improve lifestyle and eating habits. He said that we should create such an environment in the society that no one falls ill. Efforts should be made to ensure that society on the whole remains healthy. There is a need for a spiritual revolution in the society. Spirituality is the fundamental basis for building a healthy society. He appreciated the efforts of the state government for the protection of cows. Dr. Vineeta Kothari of Central Lab gave information about the campaign. A large number of devotees along with Muni Shri Nirvegsagar Ji Maharaj, Sandhansagar Ji Maharaj were present in the programme.
