Good Governance Festival 2026: 70 Cases Resolved on the Spot at Arang Solution Camp, Minister Guru Khushwant Saheb Hears Public Grievances

Instructions Issued to Resolve Pending Applications Within One Week

Raipur, May 2026: Under the statewide Good Governance Festival 2026 being conducted under the guidance of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, a grand district-level solution camp was organised in the Arang development block on Thursday. The camp was held at the premises of Swami Atmanand School and was inaugurated by Skill Development, Technical Education and Employment Minister Guru Khushwant Saheb.

During the camp, the minister interacted directly with local residents, listened to their grievances and instructed officials to ensure immediate resolution of public issues. A total of 593 applications were received at the camp, out of which 70 cases were resolved on the spot, providing instant relief to beneficiaries.

Under various welfare schemes, beneficiaries were provided with two Vandan Cards, 11 Ayushman Cards, five ration cards and four LPG cylinders under the Ujjwala Yojana. In addition, income, caste, residence and birth-death certificates were also distributed during the event.

Good Governance Saving Time and Money

Addressing the gathering, Minister Guru Khushwant Saheb said that the primary objective of the government is to ensure that the benefits of welfare schemes reach the last person in society. He stated that through the Good Governance Festival, the administration is reaching directly to the doorsteps of citizens.

He said the initiative has reduced the need for villagers to repeatedly visit government offices, thereby saving both their time and money. The minister directed officials to ensure that all remaining applications are resolved sensitively within one week.

Emphasising transparency in governance, he instructed authorities to clearly explain the reasons to any applicant found ineligible for a particular scheme so that there is no confusion or misunderstanding among the public.

Several government departments set up stalls at the camp to spread awareness about welfare schemes and public services. The Women and Child Development Department also organised an Annaprashan Sanskar ceremony during the event.

Among those present on the occasion were Dhruv Kumar Mirdha, Municipal Council Chairman Dr. Sandeep Jain, SDM Abhilasha Painkara, along with local public representatives, dignitaries and a large number of villagers.
