Madhya Pradesh active on mission mode in the war against malnutrition: CM Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Madhya Pradesh is active on mission mode in the war against malnutrition. As a result of the successful implementation of the Mukhya Mantri Bal Arogya Samvardhan Karyakram (Chief Minister Child Health Protection Programme), there has been a major decline in the figures of malnutrition in Madhya Pradesh. Madhya Pradesh ranks second among states with a decline in the total level of malnutrition.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that according to the National Family Health Survey Report, there has been a 45 percent reduction in the figures of underweight children, 45.9 percent in thinness, 48.7 percent in severe thinness and 28.7 percent in stunting in Madhya Pradesh. He said that the state government is working in mission mode to improve the nutrition level of children and this achievement is the victory trumpet of the state against malnutrition.
