Chief Minister Dr. Yadav Holds Inspiring Interaction with Social Media Influencers in Indore

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has been making sustained efforts to empower youth, women, farmers and the poor through a range of welfare initiatives, which have contributed significantly to strengthening society. He said the Madhya Pradesh Government is committed to promoting animal husbandry and the dairy industry, adding that increasing livestock and milk production is essential for the state’s prosperity. The Chief Minister was addressing a conference of social media influencers organised during the Balram Krishi Mahotsav at the Laxmibai Nagar Agricultural Produce Market in Indore.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav held a warm and inspiring interaction with young social media influencers who create content related to agriculture and allied sectors. Responding to their questions, he advised farmers to adopt crop rotation to maintain soil fertility and minimise losses during periods of low rainfall by cultivating short-duration crops. He urged influencers from across the state to create reels highlighting the welfare schemes being implemented by the state government so that more farmers could benefit from them.

Chief Minister Shares Plan for Care of Aged and Stray Cattle

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav outlined the state’s strategy to promote animal husbandry while addressing the issue of aged and stray cattle. He said the government is working on a plan to develop high-quality breeds from stray and aged cattle, which would help address both challenges while also boosting milk production through the Hiranyagarbha Yojana. He said there is no shortage of chemical fertilisers in the state and that farmers are being supplied adequate quantities based on their crop requirements. A new digital fertiliser distribution system has been introduced to curb black marketing and ensure that fertilisers are distributed according to farmers’ landholdings and actual requirements. The Chief Minister reiterated the government’s firm stand against substance abuse, saying that addiction is the root cause of social destruction and has devastated many families. He said illegal trade in narcotic substances would not be tolerated anywhere in the state and that strict legal action would be taken against those involved. Referring to the state’s liquor prohibition policy, he said the decision to ban liquor in religious towns has yielded positive results. Liquor prohibition has been implemented in 19 religious towns, including Ujjain, Omkareshwar and Orchha.
