Students Shifting from Private to Government Sandipani Schools: CM Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Sanatan culture teaches the values of friendship, harmony and the welfare of all. He said, referring to the friendship between Lord Krishna and Sudama, that the episode inspires people to uphold friendship with dignity and affection while promoting social harmony by rising above distinctions of wealth and status. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Lord Krishna’s arrival at Sandipani Ashram in Ujjain for education and his mastery of 64 arts and 14 disciplines of knowledge underscore the importance of education. The Chief Minister said that the State Government is establishing Sandipani Schools to secure a brighter future for children. Equipped with modern facilities, these schools are emerging as centres of quality education. As a result, students are leaving private schools and enrolling in government-run Sandipani Schools. He said that students in government schools are provided free textbooks and bicycles. Meritorious students securing more than 75 per cent marks in the Board examinations receive laptops, while students topping their schools are awarded scooters. He also announced that Guru Purnima Mahotsav will be celebrated across the State with great enthusiasm. Emphasising the revered place of teachers in Indian tradition, he said that since a Guru leads one from darkness to light, the State Government has introduced the tradition of addressing university Vice-Chancellors as Kulguru.

Sandipani Schools Built at Cost of Over ₹38.61 Cr in Jhinjhari and ₹35.63 Crore in Bahoriband
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav dedicated the newly constructed Sandipani Schools at Jhinjhari and Bahoriband to the people of the region. The Jhinjhari Sandipani School has been constructed at a cost of over ₹38.61 crore, while the Bahoriband Sandipani School has been built at a cost of more than ₹35.63 crore. He said the schools seamlessly combine the values and dignity of the traditional Gurukul system with the efficiency and technology of the digital age.
Sleemanabad Tunnel Major Gift for Farmers During Farmer Welfare Year
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India has accomplished several previously unimaginable achievements and earned a distinct place on the global stage. He said the State Government is advancing various development and welfare initiatives under the Prime Minister’s leadership. The Chief Minister described the Sleemanabad Tunnel Project as a landmark achievement for the Baghelkhand and Bundelkhand regions and said it would transform the region into one of the country’s most prosperous agricultural belts. It will ensure adequate irrigation and drinking water facilities in the districts of Rewa, Satna, Maihar, Panna and Katni. During the Farmer Welfare Year, the project is a major gift for the farmers of the region. He said that the State Government had sanctioned nearly ₹1,400 crore for the tunnel project to enhance farmers’ prosperity. Similarly, the Ken-Betwa River Linking Project will benefit farmers in Damoh, Sagar, Panna, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, Vidisha and other districts of Bundelkhand, while the Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal (PKC) Project will provide irrigation and drinking water to districts in the Chambal and Malwa regions. The Chief Minister announced that the Sleemanabad Tunnel Project would soon be formally inaugurated at a grand public function in Katni.
Cabinet Meeting to Be Held at Jagdishpur
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that, with the blessings of Lord Shri Ram, Madhya Pradesh is moving towards the vision of ‘One Nation, One Constitution, One Flag and One Law.’ He announced that the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) for all communities would be introduced during the upcoming Monsoon Session of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly. The Chief Minister said that Jagdishpur, located near Bhopal, was renamed Islamnagar during the period of foreign invasions, and informed that a meeting of the State Cabinet would be held at Jagdishpur before the Monsoon Session to approve the draft of the Uniform Civil Code.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also announced that, on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, ₹1,500 would once again be transferred to the bank accounts of beneficiaries under the Chief Minister Ladli Behna Yojana.
Member of Parliament Shri Vishnu Dutt Sharma also addressed the gathering. Minister of State Smt. Pratima Bagri, Member of Parliament Shri Ganesh Singh, MLAs Shri Sanjay Pathak and Shri Virendra Singh, along with several public representatives and a large number of local residents, were present on the occasion.
