Seva Setu Makes Citizen Services More Accessible: Mukesh Kumar Receives Marriage Registration Certificate Online
Raipur, July 2026 : The Chhattisgarh government’s digital governance initiative is making public services faster, more transparent, and easily accessible to citizens through the Seva Setu Portal. A recent example is that of Mukesh Kumar Netam and his wife Mehtareen Netam, residents of Khutpadar village under Keshkal Janpad Panchayat in Kondagaon district, who successfully obtained their marriage registration certificate online.
The couple required the marriage registration certificate for availing various government schemes and completing essential official documentation. Earlier, obtaining the certificate often involved lengthy procedures, repeated visits to government offices, and considerable delays.
After learning about the Seva Setu Portal, they decided to apply for the certificate online. They submitted their application along with the required documents through the portal. Owing to the portal’s simple, transparent, and user-friendly interface, the entire application process was completed smoothly without any inconvenience.
Following verification of the submitted documents, the marriage registration certificate was issued within the stipulated time. The online service not only saved the couple from making repeated trips to government offices but also reduced the time, effort, and unnecessary expenses involved in the process.
Expressing his satisfaction, Mukesh Kumar Netam said that government services have become significantly easier and more accessible through the Seva Setu Portal. He added that receiving important documents online has made it easier for him to avail the benefits of various government welfare schemes without facing administrative hurdles.
Mukesh also appealed to residents of the district to make maximum use of the Seva Setu Portal for accessing government services efficiently. He expressed his gratitude to the state government and the administration for introducing a citizen-friendly digital platform that has simplified public service delivery and improved ease of access for people across the state.
