Representatives should raise every issue concerning public interest in the House: Chief Minister

CM appeals to all political parties to engage in constructive discussions for the development of the state

All-party meeting chaired by Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana; Monsoon Session of the Uttar Pradesh Legislature to commence from August 3 (Monday)

Lucknow, August 2026 : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath urged representatives of both the ruling party and the opposition (Members of the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council) to raise every issue concerning public interest in the House. He also called upon them to engage in healthy and constructive discussions and support the government in accelerating the state’s development.

The Chief Minister appealed to the opposition parties to ensure the smooth functioning of the House. He was addressing an all-party meeting chaired by Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana at the Vidhan Bhavan on Sunday. The meeting was convened to discuss the conduct of the Monsoon Session of the Uttar Pradesh Legislature, which begins on Monday, August 3.

Addressing the meeting as the Leader of the House, CM Yogi Adityanath said, “The Monsoon Session should witness constructive discussions on issues concerning the common people.”

Such deliberations, he said, not only contribute to the state’s development but also help resolve public grievances. He emphasized that every public representative should raise all issues related to the welfare of the people in the House with seriousness.

The Chief Minister appealed to all members to cooperate in ensuring the smooth functioning of the House and to ensure that no disruption hinders its proceedings.

Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana also sought the cooperation of all members for the smooth conduct of the House.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya; Finance and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna; Leader of the Opposition Mata Prasad Pandey; National President of the Nishad Party and Cabinet Minister Dr. Sanjay Nishad; President of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party and Cabinet Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar; Congress Legislature Party leader Aradhana Mishra; Raghuraj Pratap Singh ‘Raja Bhaiya’ of the Jansatta Dal Loktantrik Party; Nishad Party Legislature Party leader Ramesh Singh; R.K. Patel of Apna Dal (S); and Rajpal Balyan of the Rashtriya Lok Dal, among others.
