Government is committed to self-reliance of women – Minister of State Meghna Sakore-Bordikar

Raigad, Alibaug, 2026 : Various schemes are being implemented in the state to make women entrepreneurs, every woman in the state should become a millionaire and self-reliant, the work to achieve this goal is being done continuously through the Ministry of Women and Child Development. State Minister of Public Health, Water Supply, Energy, Women and Child Development and Public Works, Meghna Sakore-Bordikar expressed this in Panvel.

She was speaking on the occasion of ‘Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Maharaj Swa Samadhan Shibira’ organized by the Revenue and Forest Department of Maharashtra Government for the citizens of Panvel Assembly Constituency.

To mark the birthday of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and the birth anniversary of former Deputy Chief Minister late Ajitdada Pawar, Virupaksha Mangal Office or Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Maharaj Swa Samadhan Shibir would have been organized in the city. The program was inaugurated by Minister of State Meghna Bordikar and in the prominent presence of MLA Prashant Thakur. Through Shibirachya, various complaints of citizens related to toll and government work were resolved quickly under one roof. Minister Meghna Bordikar and the dignitaries present distributed the benefits to the beneficiaries of various schemes by making available the necessary documents like Jaticha Dakhla, Utpan Dakhla, Satbara Utara and other necessary documents immediately.

In her speech, Minister Meghna Bordikar said that when the day of calling Baliraja comes, it is the food giver. The government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is working in the country and the state to make Annadatayala self-reliant. Every year, work is done continuously to increase the morale of the farmers of the country. Also, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and MLA Prashant Thakur are planning to provide various employment opportunities to the youth in their locality.

While aiming to provide benefits to 10 lakh people through Rajya Bharat Samadhan Shibir, he expressed special happiness over the fact that more than 100 lakh people in Raigarh district have been benefited through the Shibir.

At this time, MLA Prashant Thakur expressed his feelings and said that workers like us work like a bridge to ensure that the government schemes and their benefits reach the beneficiaries directly. After the government launches the scheme, it brings a big positive change in the lives of the common people and makes it accessible to the people and takes the problems of the citizens to the government. This work is not limited to just one day, it starts continuously for 365 days of the year, he said that all our public representatives are fully committed to ensure that the benefits of the government schemes reach the Gram Panchayats and the last constituents.
