The Bhoramdev Padyatra will begin on the first Monday of Shravan, August 3, at 7 a.m.

The 18-kilometer padyatra will begin from the Budha Mahadev Temple to the Bhoramdev Temple.

The Bhoramdev Padyatra will resonate with chants of “Har Har Mahadev” and “Bol Bam” throughout the holy month of Shravan.

Refreshments and drinking water will be provided at various locations along the padyatra route for pilgrims.

Buses will be arranged for the return journey of pilgrims. Four-wheeled vehicles will be prohibited on the padyatra route, and alternative routes will be established.

A traffic plan will be implemented for the padyatra, with parking available at three locations.

Restrooms have been built around the Bhoramdev Temple complex for the entire month of Shravan.

Ambulances will run alongside the padyatra, and medical booths have been set up for the pilgrims.

The tradition of pilgrims and devotees walking to the Bhoramdev Temple, a symbol of public faith, to offer water to Lord Shiva has been going on for years. As usual, this year, the grand Bhoramdev Padyatra will be held in Kabirdham district on August 3rd, the first Monday of the month of Sawan. Collector Shri Gopal Verma has invited all public representatives, social and business organizations, and prominent citizens to participate in the Bhoramdev Padyatra. In addition, senior state government officials who have previously served in Kabirdham district have also been invited by the district administration to participate.

The 18-kilometer padyatra to the famous Bhoramdev Temple in Chhattisgarh will begin at 7 a.m. on Monday, August 3rd. This pilgrimage, which has been ongoing for years, has been continuing uninterrupted since 2008 from the Budhamadha Temple in Kawardha with the support of the public. The district administration has also made arrangements for public health facilities and rest for the pilgrims and pilgrims.

In accordance with the wishes of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, and on the instructions of Collector Shri Gopal Verma, the district administration has completed preparations for this pilgrimage and other facilities, including health facilities, for the pilgrims participating in the pilgrimage. A road map has also been prepared for the pilgrims. A mobile ambulance from the Health Department will accompany the entire pilgrimage. Arrangements have been made for health check-ups of the pilgrims. Restrooms have been provided for the pilgrims around the Bhoramdev Temple complex. A DJ sound box will also be available for the entire pilgrimage.

Special bus service, alternative routes for four-wheelers identified

For the convenience of all pilgrims, free bus service will be available from Bhoramdev to Kawardha after the Bhoramdev Padyatra concludes. Adequate number of buses have been arranged for the safe and smooth travel of all pilgrims. For the safety and smooth travel of pilgrims, four-wheeled vehicles will be strictly prohibited from Samanpur to Village Chaura Road Bhoramdev from morning until afternoon. The Lalpur-Sarodha-Bhoramdev route will be used as an alternative route.

Free Bhandara and Prasad will be distributed every Monday

Like every year, free Bhandara and Prasad will be distributed to pilgrims and devotees at the Bhoramdev Temple on every Monday of the month of Sawan. Devotees will receive free meals here, and fruit snacks will also be provided for those observing the fast.

A captivating display of tableaux will be held during the yatra.

To enhance the Bhoramdev Padyatra’s grand, attractive, and cultural appeal, various religious and cultural tableaux will be displayed. Attractive tableaux depicting Lord Shiva, Indian culture, folk traditions, and social messages will be a special attraction for devotees along the yatra route. These tableaux will showcase both religious faith and cultural heritage in a captivating manner.

Police have appealed to devotees and drivers to follow diversion and traffic regulations.
