People’s issues must be resolved promptly and effectively: Chief Minister tells officials

Gorakhpur : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met with around 300 people during the Janata Darshan held on the premises of the Gorakhnath temple for the second consecutive day on Saturday morning. He directed officials to prioritize resolving public grievances, emphasizing that addressing the concerns of citizens is a top priority for his government. He urged them to handle cases with seriousness, sensitivity, and ensure swift, satisfactory resolutions.

The Chief Minister personally approached individuals seated outside the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan, listening to their issues one by one, reassuring them that their problems would be resolved. Several women brought forward complaints related to land disputes, with some alleging that some ‘dabangs’ were attempting to seize their land.

The Chief Minister instructed officials to take firm action on land dispute complaints, emphasizing that those with habitual tendencies to illegally occupy land should be identified as land mafia and dealt with strictly. He urged that land disputes be resolved swiftly and in a manner that leaves the victims satisfied.

Addressing those seeking financial assistance for medical treatment, the Chief Minister reassured them that no one’s treatment would be hindered due to financial constraints. He directed the administration to quickly process the estimates for the patients’ treatment and submit them to the government. Funds will be released as soon as the estimates are received to ensure timely care.

In a gesture of warmth during the Janata Darshan, CM Yogi gave chocolates to the children that accompanied women, offering them his blessings and affection.

A woman brought her disabled child, who was in a wheelchair, to meet Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The sight of the child deeply moved the Chief Minister, prompting him to engage in conversation with the mother. She explained that her child had not been born disabled but had contracted polio later in life. The child had been taken to major hospitals in Lucknow and Delhi, but the doctors had given up on treatment.

In response, the Chief Minister assured the woman that her child would be taken to the doctors at PGI Lucknow for another assessment. He also directed officials on the spot to ensure this arrangement was made.
