CM Inaugurates and Lays Foundation Stones for 77 Development Projects Worth ₹292 Crore in Amreli

Gandhinagar : Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 77 development projects worth ₹292 crore in Amreli district.  On this occasion, the Chief Minister provided an overview of Gujarat’s progress, stating that the Prime Minister has initiated efforts to enhance the “ease of living” for citizens by establishing a bus port equipped with modern amenities akin to an airport. In line with this vision, a state-of-the-art bus port was inaugurated in Amreli today. Built at a cost of ₹42.48 crore, this new bus port offers modern transportation facilities to residents of Amreli and the surrounding district. Passengers will benefit from convenient travel options and comfortable amenities, establishing this bus port as a new landmark for Amreli City. The Chief Minister emphasized that in pursuit of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of a Viksit Bharat, we must swiftly advance towards the goal of a Viksit Gujarat. Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, Gujarat is charting a new course for development. He also noted that various initiatives are being implemented to ensure that citizens in remote and interior regions of Gujarat receive the same quality of facilities as those travelling by air.

The Chief Minister stated that various development projects are currently underway in Amreli district. He emphasized that achieving the development roadmap in the future will depend on citizens ensuring these projects maintain high-quality standards. He highlighted that Gujarat aims to lead the way in building a Viksit Bharat by 2047, following the vision set forth by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, encapsulated in the mantra “Sauno Saath, Sauno Vikas, Sauno Vishvas, Sauno Prayas” Recently, the Prime Minister inaugurated development initiatives worth ₹8000 crore for Gujarat. As long as Shri Narendra Modi serves as Prime Minister, the momentum of growth and development will remain persistent. He noted the achievements made under the Prime Minister’s leadership, particularly in extending roads, water, and electricity to remote villages. Speaking about the Swachhta Abhiyan launched across the state on the Prime Minister’s birthday, the Chief Minister emphasised that cleanliness should be ingrained in our daily lives, extending well beyond a single day. He expressed confidence that with collective efforts, we can make both rural and urban areas permanently clean and beautiful.

Legislative Assembly Deputy Chief Whip Shri Kaushik Vekariya shared insights into the various development works completed and planned for the district, stating that the state government has always approved projects for Amreli with generosity and openness. Member of Parliament Shri Bharat Sutaria observed that the Chief Minister’s warm and straightforward approach ensures that he listens carefully to public concerns and resolves issues with efficiency. He appreciated the Chief Minister’s simple and direct working style, without any bitterness. In his welcome speech, MLA Shri Mahesh Kaswala expressed his pleasure, highlighting that the Chief Minister devoted the entire day to Amreli district for a comprehensive program. He noted that the Chief Minister will present several development initiatives, which will further speed up the district’s progress. The Chief Minister was warmly welcomed by the farmer leaders of Amreli district for his decision on farmers’ verification, made in the broader interest of the farming community.
