High level caste certification scrutiny committee meeting concluded under the chairmanship of Principal Secretary Sonamni Bora

A meeting of the high level certification scrutiny committee was held today at the Tribal Research and Training Institute, Nava Raipur Atal Nagar, under the chairmanship of Shri Sonamni Bora, Principal Secretary, Tribal, Scheduled Caste and Backward Classes and Minority Development Department.   

Principal Secretary Mr. Bora reviewed the caste related cases received from the public representatives. He said that the election of the municipal bodies and panchayat representatives is to be held in the next few months. Therefore, the complaints related to the public representatives should be investigated and resolved within a month by giving them a chance of hearing.

Mr Bora told the officials that the vigilance team should thoroughly investigate the complaints received and submit a report after giving the concerned people a chance to be heard. The parties should also be given an opportunity to present documents while keeping in mind the instructions given by the court in the related cases.

In the meeting, Director of Tribal Research and Training Institute, Co-Member Secretary Mr. P.S. Elma, Member-cum-Director Land Records Mr. Ramesh Sharma, Member-cum-Director Ms. Divya Umesh Mishra, Member-cum-Assistant Research Officer Tribal Research and Training Institute Dr. Anil Virulkar and officers of the vigilance team were present.
