No Sister Will Be Left Out of Benefits under the Chief Minister-My Beloved Sister Scheme: Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis

Shirdi : Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced that the ‘Chief Minister-Mazi Ladki Bahin’ scheme has benefited the bank accounts of 1.9 crore women in Maharashtra, with another 60 lakh women soon to be included. He assured that no sister would be deprived of benefits during Diwali.

Speaking at the event, attended by various dignitaries, Fadnavis emphasized the importance of women’s development in achieving a prosperous India. He highlighted the central government’s “Lakhpati Didi” and “Ladli Bahin” schemes, both of which aim to empower women economically. Under the state-led “Lake Ladki” scheme, girls will receive ₹1 lakh upon turning 18.

He also mentioned government initiatives like a 50% ticket discount for women on ST buses, free gas cylinders through the Chief Minister’s Annapurna Yojana, and full fee waivers for 506 vocational courses for girls. Fadnavis assured that the Chief Minister-Mazi Ladki Bahin scheme would be continually enhanced, with periodic increases to its benefits.

Fadnavis further highlighted the government’s efforts to provide year-round electricity to farmers, boost agricultural insurance, and fast-track the long-delayed Nilavande project. Plans to bring water to drought-prone regions like Ahmednagar and Nashik were also discussed.

During the event, the Deputy CM laid the foundation stone for various development projects in Shirdi, including a new airport and educational facilities.
