CM Shri Bhupendra Patel Inaugurates the Newly Constructed Khadi Bhavan in Ahmedabad

Gandhinagar : The newly constructed Khadi Bhavan near Income Tax Crossroads in Ahmedabad, managed by the Saurashtra Rachnatmak Samiti, Rajkot, was inaugurated by Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel. To inspire the public, especially the youth, to embrace khadi, the Chief Minister marked the occasion by purchasing khadi products. Notably, this Khadi Bhavan, now entering its 60th year, was originally inaugurated by then Prime Minister Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri on 6th March 1965. Recognizing the need for restoration, the building has been renovated and upgraded to meet modern requirements.

Joining the inauguration were Ahmedabad Mayor Smt. Pratibha Jain, Ellisbridge MLA Shri Amit Shah, and representatives from the Saurashtra Rachnatmak Samiti, including Minister Shri Parag Trivedi, President Shri Himmat Goda, and Vice President Shri Vallabh Lakhani.
