The Government is Fully Committed to the Comprehensive Development of Mira-Bhayandar: Chief Minister Eknath Shinde
Thane : I am delighted that various development projects are being inaugurated under the Mira-Bhayandar Municipal Corporation. The government is implementing several projects to ensure that Mira-Bhayandar becomes a clean and beautiful city, said Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
During the event, Chief Minister Shinde unveiled an equestrian statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at Ghodbunder, inaugurated the Hinduhridaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Art Gallery in Bhayandar East, launched the conservation and restoration of Ghodbunder Fort, and inaugurated the Dr. Appasaheb Dharmadhikari Auditorium. He also inaugurated musical fountains at Navghar Lake in Bhayandar and Jarimari Lake in Kashigaon. The Chief Minister also conducted the online inauguration and groundbreaking ceremonies for various government-funded projects.
Also present at the event were MP Naresh Mhaske, MLA Pratap Sarnaik, MLA Geeta Jain, Ravindra Phatak, Commissioner and Administrator of Mira-Bhayandar Municipal Corporation Sanjay Katkar, Police Commissioner Madhukar Pande, Additional Commissioners Dr. Sambhaji Panpatte and Aniket Manorakar, City Engineer Deepak Khambit, Deputy Commissioners Kalpita Pimple, Sachin Bangar, Prasad Shingate, and Sanjay Donde, along with a large number of citizens.
The Chief Minister praised MLA Pratap Sarnaik, acknowledging that many initiatives in Mira-Bhayandar have been implemented due to his vision and have been successfully completed. He further noted that the local representatives of Mira-Bhayandar are working inclusively, preserving all cultures and walking hand-in-hand with all religious communities. Mira-Bhayandar, situated between Mumbai and Thane, has seen significant completion of various development projects as a result.
During the event, the Chief Minister also advised that the issue of housing for journalists should be resolved quickly. He also extended special congratulations to the local police administration for successfully recovering stolen jewelry and returning it to the rightful owners.
