Selfless service is the basic mantra of Sanatan culture: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that getting an opportunity to serve society selflessly is a blessing from God. It is God’s grace to find a human body among the 84 lakh Yonis in Mrityulok on the strength of one’s destiny. In the period between birth and death, God provides the opportunity to convert one’s destiny through good deeds, especially social service. He said that a platform like Sant Ishwar Samman recognizes this unique spirit of social service. The work done by the Sant Ishwar Foundation and Rashtriya Seva Bharti in enhancing the tradition of social service by honoring various social workers of Sanatan culture who have come from remote areas is commendable. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav took part in the Sant Ishwar Samman Ceremony 2024 at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi on Wednesday.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Sanatan culture is unique in the world, which is a matter of pride for us. He said that the saints wearing Agnivastra are the greatest contributors to Sanatan culture, providing energy and guidance to living beings as the Sun. Saints and Sanatan tradition show the way to face the difficulties and challenges of life. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Santshree are fulfilling the Vedic chant of ‘Yad Pinde-Tad Brahmande’ by representing 33 crore deities.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the excellent work done by the ‘Sant Ishwar Foundation’ in the last 22 years is a true example of social service. The Foundation has taken up the responsibility of serving in areas where resources are scarce and access to education, health, and basic amenities is limited. He said that education is an important means of social and economic development. The Foundation is working to educate people in rural and remote areas, which are deprived of education due to economic and social difficulties. The work of the Foundation for spreading unity, harmony, and education in society is praiseworthy.
