Chief Minister Holds Meeting with District Collectors
Jaipur : Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma stated that the state government is on alert and fully vigilant for the effective prevention of seasonal diseases such as dengue, malaria, and scrub typhus. He urged District Collectors to launch a campaign to educate the public on preventing these diseases. He directed the Collectors to deploy additional health workers in affected areas, ensure the full availability of medicines at health centers, and maintain regular monitoring through the 24-hour control room.
Shri Sharma presided over a meeting with District Collectors via video conferencing from the Chief Minister’s office on Thursday. He emphasized that the state government is making urgent decisions to keep the public safe from seasonal diseases, from villages to cities, and directed intensive fogging in waterlogged areas in both urban and rural locations.
Ensuring Adequate Fertilizer for Farmers and Action Against Hoarding
The Chief Minister highlighted that the state government is implementing welfare schemes and programs on a large scale, prioritizing the welfare of farmers. He directed the Agriculture Department to regularly monitor fertilizer stocks while ensuring an adequate supply for farmers. He encouraged the use of SSP as an alternative to DAP fertilizer and urged Collectors to promote it widely.
Preparations for Common Eligibility Test (CET)
While reviewing preparations for the Common Eligibility Test (CET) scheduled for 22nd to 24th October, Shri Sharma directed the Collectors to ensure effective management for the security of question papers. He stressed that the future of lakhs of examinees is linked to this examination and that necessary arrangements, including transportation, uninterrupted power supply at examination centers, and drinking water, should be ensured in a timely manner.
District-Level Investors Meet: Benefits for Small Investors
The Chief Minister announced that the ‘Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit-2024’ will take place in Jaipur from 9th to 11th December. In this context, he emphasized the importance of making ‘Rising Rajasthan’ a success through district-level Investors Meets. He instructed District Collectors to engage in meaningful discussions with industrial organizations and industrialists, as well as Chartered Accountants (CAs), to boost investments. He noted that even small investments could significantly contribute to creating new employment opportunities in the district. Shri Sharma directed all District Collectors to provide job opportunities for youth through employment fairs and to maximize benefits from the PM Internship Scheme.
Repair of Damaged Roads Before Diwali
The Chief Minister directed the Public Works Department and the Urban Development Department to repair and patch all damaged roads in the region before Diwali. He assured that the state government has no shortage of funds for development work, stressing that road repairs and patchwork should be completed on time and with high quality. He reviewed the asphalting and repair works of roads dug under the Jal Jeevan Mission and instructed District Collectors to continuously monitor these efforts.
The Chief Minister also directed Mr. Hemant Gera, Chairman of the Revenue Board, to hold a meeting with District Collectors at the end of each month to report on the settlement of revenue cases. He stated that divisional commissioners should review sub-divisional revenue cases monthly and send their reports to the Chief Minister’s office. Additionally, he directed District Collectors and Sub-Divisional Officers to issue pending notices related to 251-A (Road Matters) and Section 53 (Partition of Land) in a timely manner to provide immediate relief to the public in land-related matters.

Sawant, Industries Shri Ajitabh Sharma, Chief Minister’s Office Shri Alok Gupta, Revenue and Settlement Shri Dinesh Kumar, Autonomous Government Shri Rajesh Kumar Yadav, Secretary to Government of various departments, and Chairman of the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board Major General Alok Raj, along with all District Collectors who joined via video conference.
