Civic amenities are developing rapidly in Raigarh: Finance Minister Shri O.P. Choudhary
Finance Minister Shri OP Choudhary today performed the Bhoomi Pujan of 10 asphalt roads and one CC road construction work to be built at a cost of 4 crore 95 lakh 91 thousand rupees in Raigarh Corporation area. During this, while congratulating the residents of the ward for the construction work going on in the area, he said that the road construction work being done here will provide convenience to the general public in commuting. Regarding the construction work, he instructed the corporation officer and the concerned contractor to complete the work within the time limit with high quality.
Finance Minister Shri O.P. Choudhary said that continuous work is being done for the development of the region under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai. This will strengthen the development and infrastructure of the region and provide better facilities to the people. He said that this effort will continue with continuous work to write a new chapter of development in Raigarh. Finance Minister Shri Choudhary said that small and big problems of the region will be solved with everyone’s cooperation on priority basis. He said that the government is working keeping in mind the interests of all, in which along with the operation of various schemes like support price of paddy, Mahtari Vandan, works of infrastructure development are being done.
Finance Minister Mr. Choudhary said that along with basic development like drinking water, electricity, roads, medical facilities in urban and rural areas, work is also being done to take the new generation to new heights. So far, Prayas Vidyalaya was operated only in the divisional headquarters, but Raigarh is the first district where Prayas Vidyalaya is being operated. Here residential facilities are available along with studies. Here preparation is done for various entrance exams like engineering, medical, law. Get your children admitted in Prayas Vidyalaya through entrance exam so that our efforts are successful and the future of the children can be bright.
Finance Minister Mr. OP Choudhary said that Rs. 24 crore has been sanctioned for the Horticulture College. Also, Nalanda campus will be established to provide the facility of a national level library. Where the youth will be able to prepare for various competitive examinations easily. Mayor Mrs. Janaki Katju expressed her gratitude to Finance Minister Mr. Choudhary for his continuous support in the development of Raigarh. During this, he gave information about the development works done earlier under the corporation area. On this occasion, many public representatives of urban institutions and a large number of common citizens were present.

At the program venue Chhatamuda Basti, the ground breaking ceremony was done for the construction of a tarred road from Ward No. 41 Chhatamuda main gate to the Basti at a cost of Rs 32 lakh 15 thousand, construction of a CC road from Ward No. 41 Main Road to Sahadev Pali Basti at a cost of Rs 15 lakh, and construction of a tarred road from Ward No. 42 Amlibhauna Primary School via Baba Dham main road to the Basti at a cost of Rs 50 lakh. Similarly, in the programme organised at Minimata Chowk, in ward number 29, 30 from Pandit Deendayal Garden to Kayaghat Chowk, the cost of which will be Rs 32 lakh 70 thousand, in ward number 28, 29 from Ayurveda Hospital to Minimata Chowk, the cost of which will be Rs 40 lakh 53 thousand will be Rs., in ward number 20 from Shaheed Chowk to Shani Temple, the cost of which will be Rs 22 lakh 5 thousand, in ward number 37 from Shankar Timber Culvert to Beni Kunj, the cost of Rs 1 crore 21 lakh 55 thousand will be Rs. In the programme organised at Boirdadar Chowk, construction of a tarred road from Boirdadar Chowk to Shalini School at a cost of Rs 48 lakh 50 thousand, in ward number 48, construction of a tarred road from Mahesh Shukla’s house to Khokhara house at a cost of Rs 20 lakh, in ward number 47, construction of a tarred road from Crazy Fast Food Centre to Vijaypur Chowk to Indira Vihar Chowk at a cost of Rs 80 lakh 20 thousand, in ward number 42, from Surabhi Dairy to the main road towards Sumit’s house, an asphalt road will be constructed at a cost of Rs 29 lakh 83 thousand.
