Dialogue Program with Entrepreneurs Under ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Investor Meet in Bharatpur
Jaipur – Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma emphasized the government’s commitment to making Rajasthan a developed state, stating that the upcoming ‘Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit,’ scheduled for December 9 to 11, will be a significant milestone in this effort. He highlighted the crucial role of small and local investments in creating employment opportunities for youth at the local level.
During the entrepreneurs’ dialogue program held as part of the Rising Rajasthan Investor Meet in Bharatpur on Friday, Chief Minister Sharma noted that the state government is offering subsidies and special concessions for land and other resources to encourage investment in small industries. He also mentioned the establishment of a single-window system to streamline all necessary approvals for businesses.
Historic Decisions Made by the State Government
Shri Sharma detailed several historic decisions taken by the state government in a short span of nine months, including progress on the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP), the Yamuna Water Agreement, and the Dewas Project, which address the region’s water requirements. He also announced that memoranda of understanding (MoUs) worth ₹2.24 lakh crores have been signed to make the region self-sufficient in energy.
Additionally, the Chief Minister stated that the government has formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate paper leak cases, ensuring that those who undermine the dreams of the youth face consequences.
Chief Minister Sharma further highlighted ongoing beautification and organized development initiatives in Bharatpur, aimed at enhancing the area’s potential for historical and natural tourism. He reiterated the state government’s vision of transforming Bharatpur into an attractive tourist destination.
During the program, industrialists and investors provided valuable suggestions regarding the development and investment in various sectors in Bharatpur, including hotels, mining, automobiles, and mustard oil.
Present at the event were Water Resources Minister and District In-Charge Shri Suresh Singh Rawat, Minister of State for Home Shri Jawahar Singh Bedham, MLA Dr. Shailesh Singh, Nauksham Chaudhary, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Shikhar Agarwal, Transport Commissioner and District In-Charge Secretary Mrs. Shuchi Tyagi, along with various intellectuals.
