Governor Participates in “Alai-Balai” Festival in Hyderabad, Celebrates the Unique Tradition of Community Spirit
Jaipur : Governor Shri Haribhau Bagde attended the “Alai-Balai” festival in Hyderabad on Sunday, where he congratulated the people of Telangana on this special cultural celebration. He noted that the festival embodies the long-standing tradition of communities coming together to celebrate. Shri Bandaru Dattatreya has played a key role in reviving and promoting folk culture through this event.
Governor Bagde praised the dedication and enthusiasm with which Shri Dattatreya organizes the festival. He described “Alai-Balai” as a unique example of the Indian tradition of public spirit and mutual harmony.
He further explained that the festival, initiated by Haryana Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatreya, has become an integral part of Telangana’s cultural celebrations. The Governor highlighted that “Alai-Balai” fosters mutual love and unity, and the traditional Telangana festivals showcased at the event serve as a reminder of the collective responsibility to preserve and promote cultural traditions.
It is noteworthy that, alongside Governor Bagde, governors, ministers, politicians, and dignitaries from various states across the country gathered in Hyderabad to take part in the celebration. Governor Bagde also participated in cultural programs, as well as enjoyed displays of traditional artifacts, cuisine, and other festive activities.
