Workshop on Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission Highlights the Importance of Health Professional Registry

Jaipur : Following the initiative of Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma and directives from Medical Minister Shri Gajendra Singh Khinsar, efforts are underway to implement technological innovations to enhance medical services in the region. In this context, a workshop was conducted under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission at NIMS Hospital, Jaipur, focusing on the benefits of the Health Professional Registry (HPR) in digital health services. The workshop was organized by the IT department of the National Health Mission, Rajasthan.

Doctors and nursing staff from NIMS Hospital participated in the event, where they were provided with detailed information on the significance of the Health Professional Registry and its various advantages. Notably, the HPR ID ensures security, transparency, and easy tracking of healthcare providers’ professional identities, thereby enhancing the quality of services delivered to patients.

During the workshop, HPR IDs were created for doctors and nursing staff, enabling them to connect to the nationwide digital health network and provide more effective healthcare services.
