Every Customer Should Get Basic Amenities at Petrol Pumps: Forest and Environment Minister, Promotes Environmental Conservation by Planting a Tree
Jaipur : The Minister of State for Forest and Environment (Independent Charge) and In-charge of Sikar District, Shri Sanjay Sharma, inaugurated the Haripura Filling Station in the Dhod area of Sikar district on Tuesday by cutting the ribbon.
Addressing the event, the district in-charge minister emphasized that petrol pumps are not just places for selling diesel; they serve as direct points of contact with the public. He noted that while selling petrol and diesel is the business, it is also essential to ensure customer satisfaction. The minister mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, after assuming office, directed all petroleum companies to provide basic amenities such as toilets, drinking water, and first-aid facilities to customers at petrol pumps. He added that the behavior of sales staff should be friendly and create a family-like atmosphere for customers.
On this occasion, Shri Sharma planted a tree, sending a message of environmental conservation.
Dhod MLA Shri Govardhan Verma stated at the event that the state government is committed to the overall development of the area.
