Pu F. Rodingliana’s Departmental Visit in Champhai District

Champhai : On the previous day, Pu F. Rodingliana visited Champhai District to inspect departments under Power & Electricity and Commerce & Industries. The Minister, Lt. Col. Clement Lalhmingthanga, and local representatives from Champhai South were also present during the visit.

Pu F. Rodingliana inspected the Commerce & Industries Department Building in New Champhai, as well as the Champhai Bazarpui and Zokhawthara C&I Buildings. He also visited the Power & Electricity Department office located at Champhai Electric Veng.

During his visit to the Commerce & Industries areas in New Champhai and Champhai Bazarpui, Pu F. Rodingliana discussed the need for market management and the necessary improvements to support local businesses.

In addition, Pu F. Rodingliana addressed the SDO Office of the Power & Electricity Department at Electric Veng, discussing the district’s power supply needs. The Minister emphasized the importance of reliable power supply for both daily life and economic activities, mentioning that there is a critical need for proper management and timely maintenance of power services. He stressed that the government should work hard to ensure the needs of the people are met effectively.

Furthermore, P&E Minister Lt. Col. Lalhmingthanga highlighted plans to establish an 11 KV line in Zion Veng field. After the engineers complete the work, he stated that further improvements should follow.
