Extension of ITI Admission Deadline for 2024-2025 Academic Year
The admission deadline for ITI (Industrial Training Institutes) has been extended to October 30, 2024. Currently, 102 government ITIs and 311 private ITIs are operational under the skill development and training program in the district. Initially, the deadline for applications for the 2024-2025 academic year was set for September 30, 2024, but it has now been extended to accommodate applicants.
Candidates can utilize this opportunity to apply directly to the ITIs of their choice along with the required educational documents. There are no training fees for students enrolling in government ITIs. An educational assistance of ₹750 will be provided to students. The government will also supply bicycles, uniforms, shoes, training equipment, and other essentials at no charge.
In recent years, 85% of the trainees from ITIs have secured placements in leading companies. Additionally, government ITIs are offering training in various sectors, including emerging fields such as Industry 4.0.
