Nadipathi miniature breed cows from Andhra Pradesh arrived at Gorakhnath Temple’s Gaushala in September
Gorakhpur : During his stay at the Gorakhnath temple, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s commitment to Gauseva remains an integral part of his daily routine. Continuing this practice on Saturday morning, he spent time in the temple’s Gaushala, engaging in Gauseva activities and personally overseeing the care of the cows.
The Chief Minister fed jaggery to the cows and issued necessary instructions to the Gaushala staff regarding their well-being. Among the cows he cared for were two special members of the Gaushala: Bhavani and Bholu, both of the Nadipathi miniature breed.
These cows, an improved version of the Punganur breed, were brought to the Gorakhnath temple from a Gaushala in Yeleswaram, Andhra Pradesh, in September.
The Chief Minister has personally named this pair of cows—a heifer and a calf—brought from South India. He named the heifer Bhavani and the calf Bholu. Each time the CM visits the Gorakhnath temple, he makes sure to check in on them. Both Bhavani and Bholu have developed attachment to the Chief Minister.
On Saturday, along with tending to all the cows in the cowshed, the Chief Minister spent extra time with Bhavani and Bholu. He pampered them, talked to them, and fed them jaggery and fodder. The two cows appeared to respond warmly to his affection, reflecting the special bond they share with him.
