Chief Secretary Calls for Smooth and Successful Organization of ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024

Jaipur : During a review of preparations for the upcoming ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024, Chief Secretary Shri Sudhansh Pant on Tuesday instructed the Departments of Tourism, General Administration, Urban Development, and the Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) to ensure the summit’s smooth and successful execution. Scheduled to be held in Jaipur from December 9 to 11, the summit is a top priority for the state, with all departments expected to work towards its success.

Chief Secretary Pant assessed the work of various committees focused on beautifying Jaipur, handling media and publicity, managing protocol and accommodations for VIPs, and organizing cultural programs and tourism activities. With just one month to go, he emphasized that all relevant departments should intensify efforts for a seamless event, presenting Jaipur at its finest for the national and international dignitaries and investors attending.

During the high-level meeting, Shri Pant directed that monuments and public spaces should be meticulously managed, and that city systems should meet the highest standards. Committees provided updates on their recent activities, with the Chief Secretary stressing the importance of inter-departmental coordination and adherence to high standards for the prestigious three-day event.

The General Administration Department (GAD) was instructed to manage charter flights smoothly and establish a help desk for delegates, while DIPR was asked to prioritize all promotional activities. Additional committee reviews will also be conducted to ensure optimal coordination.

Present at the meeting were senior officials from the Industries, Urban Development, Housing, Jaipur Development Authority, Tourism, General Administration, and Information and Public Relations Departments.

‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024 Highlights

The ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024, organized by the Government of Rajasthan with the Department of Industries and Commerce, Bureau of Investment Promotion (BIP), and Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO), will take place in Jaipur from December 9 to 11.

To date, the state has signed MoUs worth over Rs 18 lakh crore with companies globally. Roadshows and pre-summits have been held across India, as well as in countries like South Korea, Japan, UAE, and the UK. The summit aims to attract investors from small and large enterprises worldwide, encouraging industry growth in Rajasthan. Theme-based sessions will cover sectors such as agriculture, renewable energy, education, tourism, and mining, with special sessions tailored for different countries.
