Chief Minister participates in the ‘Gau Goshti’ event at Shree Sarveshwar Gaudham, Kobadi in Bhavnagar
Gandhinagar : Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel participated in the ‘Gau Goshti’ event at Shri Sarveshwar Gaudham, Kobadi in Bhavnagar district, marking the beginning of the New Year.
During the event, the Chief Minister remarked that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had introduced the Animal Health Fair with a concern for animal health. This government is committed to protecting all living beings and providing all necessary treatments, diagnoses, and vaccinations for animals in animal clinics.
Encouraging natural farming, the Chief Minister stated that soil and human health are deteriorating. He mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Governor Shri Acharya Devvrat also support natural farming based on indigenous cows, emphasizing the need to adopt natural -farming to maintain our health.
Highlighting cleanliness, the Chief Minister noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi initiated the nationwide Cleanliness Campaign, urging everyone to make cleanliness a habit and culture by keeping our homes, courtyards, and surroundings clean and beautiful. He said, Let us create Viksit Gujarat to contribute to building Viksit Bharat@2047.
On this occasion, Union Minister Smt. Nimuben Bambhaniya praised the efforts of the double-engine government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel in Gujarat, for driving development work. She appreciated the arrangements at the Kobadi Gaushala, where sick and aged cows are treated, acknowledging the planning and the team behind it.
The Chief Minister performed rituals for the revered Kamadhenu cow and visited stalls showcasing elderly bulls, disabled cows, blind cows, sick cows, orphaned calves, an operation theater, and an ambulance.
The ‘Gau Goshti’ event was organized for the first time with grandeur on the holy land of Bhavnagar, in the presence of revered Mahantshri Jaydevsharanji Maharaj, industrialists, prominent community leaders, gau sevaks, and political dignitaries. The MLA Shri Jitu Vaghani gave the welcome speech.
