Inauguration and Foundation Laying of Over 25 Projects Worth ₹12,000 Crore Across India – Stepping Swiftly Towards Developed India: Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Jaipur : Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing the nation from Darbhanga, Bihar, inaugurated and laid the foundation for over 25 projects across sectors like roads, railways, and healthcare, totaling ₹12,000 crore. In Rajasthan, virtual inaugurations of the Prime Minister’s Bharatiya Jan Aushadhi Kendras were held in Jaipur, Barmer, and Falna, where citizens can now access affordable medicines. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma attended the event via video conference from his residence.

In his speech, the Prime Minister emphasized the Central Government’s commitment to building a developed India and highlighted the inauguration of projects exceeding ₹12,000 crore as part of this mission. He underscored the government’s focus on expanding and strengthening healthcare services, aiming for timely disease prevention, affordable treatment, advanced facilities in smaller towns, addressing physician shortages, and promoting technology in healthcare. He noted that the newly inaugurated AIIMS in Darbhanga would enhance local healthcare access and create job and self-employment opportunities for youth. Modi also mentioned national campaigns like the Fit India Movement, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, and Har Ghar Nal Se Jal, which have improved public health by reducing disease transmission.

Committed to India’s Growth with a ‘Double Engine’ Government:

PM Modi reiterated the government’s dedication to India’s development. Initiatives like the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi and the Kisan Credit Card have empowered farmers, while the One District-One Product scheme has given local goods international recognition. Additionally, more than a dozen sites have been integrated into the Ramayana Circuit to boost tourism. Working under the motto “Development and Heritage,” the government has granted classical language status to several regional languages. Modi remarked that unlike previous administrations, which often remained entangled in promises, his government is determined to fulfill every commitment.

State Government Taking Crucial Steps for Expanding Health Services:

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma credited Prime Minister Modi’s visionary leadership for accelerating India’s development across sectors such as roads, energy, healthcare, industry, water, education, and IT. The launch of Bharatiya Jan Aushadhi Kendras at Jaipur’s Durgapura Railway Station, Barmer, and Falna provides affordable medicines to the public. Sharma also highlighted the state’s consistent initiatives for expanding healthcare, including free treatment under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, along with innovations like Ayushman Arogya Mandirs and Maa Vouchers, all contributing to the Healthy Rajasthan mission.

Principal Secretary for Health and Medical Services, Gayatri Rathore, and Jaipur Division’s Additional Divisional Railway Manager Gaurav Gaur were also present at the event.
