New members of Women’s Commission given responsibility of divisions

The newly appointed members of Chhattisgarh State Women’s Commission will discharge their responsibilities in the divisions. After the appointment of new members in the meeting of the Women’s Commission, division-wise benches were constituted.

In the meeting held under the chairmanship of Women’s Commission Chairperson Dr. Kiranmayi Nayak, a proposal was made to all the members to select the division themselves. He said that a hearing related to women harassment has been scheduled at Raipur headquarters on 19, 20 and 21 November 2024, in which all the members will be present. He informed that a meeting has been organized on 21 November 2024 at 11 am.

The division-wise responsibilities of the new members are as follows. The chief charge of Bastar division will be taken by Ms. Deepika Sori and additional charge by Mrs. Ojaswi Mandavi, the chief charge of Surguja Sabhag will be taken by Mrs. Priyamvada Singh Judev and additional charge by Mrs. Sarla Kosaria, the chief charge of Bilaspur division will be taken by Mrs. Sarla Kosaria and additional charge by Mrs. Priyamvada Singh Judev.

Similarly, Raipur division will be headed by Mrs. Laxmi Verma and additional charge will be taken by Ms. Deepika Sori and Durg division will be headed by Mrs. Ojasvi Mandavi and additional charge will be taken by Mrs. Laxmi Verma. All the members of the commission including commission secretary Manoj Kumar Sinha, assistant director Mrs. Pushpa Kiran Kujur and all the employees were present in the meeting.
